As far as I remember, Rolex say as long as the change is between -5 mins to +10 minutes of midnight, it’s within their specification. As others have said it depends on the placement of the hands at assembly. The fact is that the change is instantaneous. Many watches change within an hour or two of midnight. Most Rolexes change within a few minutes. Four minutes might be longer than most responses I've seen on similar threads, but I don't think it's anything to be concerned with. I spoke to the rolex rep in selfridges & he confirmed that it could change anything up to 5 mins after stroke of midnight. Anything more than that & it's operating outside reasonable variance. Credit to the bremont though.
